Site URL listed in Yahoo incorrect?

Ok, hoping someone can help me out here. I have a website, let's say www.website.com and it is listed in Yahoo. The problem is the following. The site is listed in Yahoo as follows:

website.com/index.html

That is the result that is shown when it shows up for my main keyword. The www. extension is missing and the index.html page does not even exist, yet Yahoo still shows it. I am running Wordpress on the site. Anyone have any ideas as to why Yahoo is showing the index.html even though it doesn't exist? The site is crawled often and the last crawl was 3 days ago so I have no idea why it insists on showing the index.html.

That's strange. But you may create index.html which redirects to your site. Or use .htaccess

Thanks guys. I do have .htaccess setup to redirect everything. The problem is, since the index.html is showing in yahoo serps, that page which doesn't exist is also showing up with 0 links and no page rank. I guess I am wondering if this will affect how my site is ranking for that keyword. It shows/is listed fine in www.google.com and www.yahoo.com but for my local area tw.yahoo.com it shows up as above (no www and an index.html).

This is strange because Wordpress sorts out this problem out of the box. How long has that index.html been there? It should be naturally de-indexed with time. If it has no backlinks then there is no need to redirect it either.

Mighty, not sure how long as I only finally paid attention last night to what was showing. I have had the site for about 2+ years now and for the last few months I've had wordpress running on it. Global yahoo (www.yahoo.com) shows the site fine but the local yahoo still insists on showing the .html I remember in the past after I put wordpress up I had problems with pages being shown in the local yahoo serps that were no longer there and I had to use a .htaccess redirect to fix this problem. I am wondering if backing up the DB and then deleting and doing a fresh install of wordpress might fix things. Mainly worried about how I rank in the SERPs. Yahoo is the biggest player here and ranking well in Google means absolutely nothing if you want traffic.

Fixed. Join yahoo site explorer, add your domain (website.com) without the www. (if you add the www. it shows a completely different stats report), I then found the one page indexed .html and deleted it. Will see what happens after they confirm the removal and yahoo indexes my site again.
