Thanks to Mr Curtis, I am back too after more than 10 hours of being locked out :( of this lovely home. :)

Dear Mods, please delete my duplicate BHW account srbduplicateacc, as I had created it to be able to connect with BHW support as all other measures had failed me when I wasn't able to log in. That duplicate account is not needed, and it has solved the purpose of creating it. Sorry for going against BHW rules, but I hope that you'd kindly understand the necessity for creating it.

Thanks once again, especially to Mr Curtis and his whole support team!

Warm Regards,

~srb888

Oh, good that you mention it. Please disable the account "HaiiroNeko2", as it was created for the same reason that srb888 stated above. There was no intention to violate the rules of BHW.

Edit: Thanks for disabling the account. :)

This may help those who may be locked out as I was:

I am normally using a Wifi Router between my PC and the internet modem provide by my ISP.

As nothing was working for me and I wasn't able to overcome the 15 minutes out dreaded message, I tried removing all cookies, closing all browsers (I use 2 different ones sometimes), then I shut off PC.

After shutting down PC, I removed my Wifi Router, and set up the usual direct internet connection (ISP-provided modem -> PC), rebooted PC, opened command window (cmd), then typed ipconfig/release, and then typed ipconfig/renew at the command prompt in that command window. It gave me the usual ISP-provided IPaddress, and not something like 10.0.0.x which you get while using the Wifi Router.

Then I opened my Firefox, cleared history (including cookies), then tried logging in into BHW. I could log in now! (This was while using only the ISP provided modem, and not using the Wifi Router).

But then I wanted to check if I was also able to log in successfully using the wifi. So I cleared all cookies, shut off pc, added the Wifi Router between the ISP modem and PC, rebooted, opened command window, typed ipconfig/release, then typed ipconfig/renew... (it gave me the usual 10.0.0.x IPaddress), then I opened Firefox, cleared all cookies, tried logging in to BHW.... was able to successfully log in!

So may be the step "remove the Wifi Router, and typing first ipconfig/release, then typing ipconfig/renew" was needed to get over whatever bug was causing the repeated Wait 15 minutes error.

Of course, the whole process was only a "time pass" attempt that miraculously worked for me, as I am not a pro in such matters! :), but whatever, it worked for me! May be you should also try using the same... it will at least keep you busy for a while! lol

Of course, people who are not logged in can still view this thread, so those who are still locked out may try this too (if you're also using a Wifi Router). GL!

Mr Apricot got me back in! :D

It seems to be related to Outlook.com not allowing the password recovery emails to come through to either @outlook addresses or domains using the domains.live.com interface.

Drop him a mail via the contact form if you need some assistance or want the password sending to a 2nd email account - it also saves making a 2nd account.

srb888 method worked great :D

I'm using mac and I have just done the following

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

And logged in like charm :) Home Sweet Home :D

Everything for me seems to be working properly. If I find anything i'll be sure to post here or contact a mod about it.

Me too i'm back Thanks mr Abricot!

To solve that he changed my hotmail mail to another mail!

At this moment, the Settings menuitem is not working for me. Rest of the menus are working properly.

Settings:

P.S.:
It wasn't working for almost 10 minutes, but now it has started working! Rest of the menus were and are working properly... Strange! :)

Try and only have one tab for BHW. Can mess with cookies if too many are open.

I have a new notification for Reputation Comment and when I click on the notification it takes to me my settings page but doesn't tell me where or why I got the Rep and the notification doesn't disappear. All other notifications disappear after going to the page.

Hopefully that makes sense.

Yeah that is about right. Wow. 2 years, really? That's what happens when you have a new baby.

Wasn't sure if it was a bug with the new updates or not.

What instantly jumped out and struck me as odd when I saw your PM was that I did NOT have to reset my password.

Enjoy ..... :cool2:
