Site ranking dropped!

Hello guys, I manage an Australian website and doing SEO for 4 months. So far my ranking was good. I managed to bring the site to 12th position (in google.com.au) from out of nowhere. But suddenly the ranking has started dropping from yesterday. Yesterday it was in 16th position and today it is showing in the 3rd page! Don't know what is going on there! My keyword term is '3d rendering services' and the website is MOD EDIT: LINK REMOVED Could anyone figure out what is wrong with it? And if anyone is there from Australia, could you please do a Google search?

It might be just dancing. Don't do anything but observe. Just give it a time to settle down in a week or two.

Do you have anything in your arsenal that can push it up in the first page? I'm tired of writing blog posts! I guess there are places where I can utilize my writing to push up the ranking of the site. By the way, I wish you are expert enough to make it feel uncomfortable that, my main competitor MOD EDIT: LINK REMOVED has bought a bunch of domain, wrote some average 3-4 content and created backlinks towards their site. Is it a great way to do backlinks?

Yes, what your competitor is doing is called PBN. And it is one of the fastest way to push your site to the top. But if you mess it up, you might end up tanking your site.

I think you should work on getting a guest post on another authoritive site with good content. this will definitely boost your ranking as well as traffic.
And one more idea I can give you that first, you should try to look out you on page SEO of your website and go for the off-page which mandatory.

Check the search console for a manual action, otherwise it may be a slight dance, nothing new. Also, if I were you, I would wipe out my (or my client) website URL from a black hat SEO forum if you're not planning to get a manual action anytime soon...

[DOT] dash WHATEVER won't help you with a fact that G's spam team browse this forum regularly (I assume).
 
I saw your post on Reddit. Don't worry about it. Just a Google dance. In time your rankings will appear in the correct position.

Seems Google Dance, It's better to observe for 1 or 2 weeks.

Buy some homepage PBN links with high DA to boost your ranking.
