    Hi guys,

Kind of a weird thing happened to me a few weeks ago and I am not sure what to do.

I had a site ranking at 1 number but I had a maintenance page up as I was doing some work for a few weeks on the site. I ranked 1 for the whole time I had the maintenance page up and then we I took it off my site dropped to page 8 and didn't come back up. I didn't add any other links or anything like that. So after 2 weeks of this I 301'd to a new domain and the new domain is ranking on page 1 #5. My questions is should I just keep building links to the new domain or should I drop everything and start all over?

It was weird how I was ranking 1 with my maintenance page up for 6 weeks and then drops off when I remove it?

    Thanks

you need to keep link building because on this way your metric go increase and it is best for ranking purpose for future when your competitor's metrics also increase.
