Site Ranked #1 without backlinks or SEO

ok, so would anyone care to elaborate on how my site is ranked

on page 1 of google, no backlinks, about a month or 2 old.

no promoting.

google indy babysitters

is the keyword "indy baby sitters" or "indy babysitters"?

Also which site are you talking about?

1st page comparision:
-low backlinks
-low pr
-some have age
-low optimization

You have the keyword in your h1 and title so that is probably
what did it. That and the exact match domain

**you're also getting a seasonal ranking bonus for the snow flakes**
 
On site seo is good. A lot of content on the site and has a few backlinks!

Not sure how long it has been up there but i would imagine it will be jumping around for a while before it settles down!

Well I guess first off I don't know what an indy babysitter is. A Baby sitter in Indianapolis, India? My guess is that you are able to rank with no promoting because of basically no competition. Also you are showing as number 8 on my google. It would kind of be like me ranking for "rat style tuggy pooh" (yes I just made that up).
 
If you google "indy babysitters" you will see why you are in the first page

9 results. Your site is the only one that have the keywords in the domain, title, content, etc.

No results found for "rat style tuggy pooh"....Yet. We all know how fast google indexes these threads (and I admit, I pinged the thread). But ya, thats the main idea here, no competition.

It scares me that someone would find a babysitter by use of the internet. There are so many friends of friends who have kids who need cash, I could never leave my child with someone from the internet.

I understand you on that. no one that i don't know or someone i know doesn't know them, then im not leaving my kids alone with them, but there are shamelessly alot of people out there like this

Your site isn't #1, but it's on the first page. Actually two of your pages are on the first page with 1 backlink to each one, with the keyword as anchor text.

It's probably the exact match domain, but that's pretty sweet that you got a good ranking from just onsite seo.

It depends where you are located. Not just country wide, but even small differences in location can show different results. He is ranked #1 and #2 on google.ca, which wont help much, but still... Also, on another ranking checker I found him 12 and 12 on google.com

And of course, Yahoo and Bing have him ranked #1 because they LOVE exact match domains.
 
onpage seo + no competing pages. Its like ranking for "indy celtic priests", you're guaranteed a top spot if your onpage is right.
