Hi Guys,

I bought a domain 2 days ago, changed nameservers but it still shows the godaddy parked page, people have seen it (i'm sure in the US) i'm in the UK can anyone see the site ok?

In germany it shows up a shopsite... This can take some time till all servers are updated.

Thats what i should see lol US & Germany can see it but not the UK weird.

edit: bloody heck what does that mean if i can't see it? iv never come accross this before, my other sites show up great though.

just cool down - many dns servers have to been updated, untill its shown right in the whole world.

It will work in a few hours i expect.

your ISP is probably caching your dns - try rebooting your router/modem clearing temp internet files, restarting your machine etc

if you havent tried already try using both variations of your domain with www and without http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/blackhat-lounge/www....

check your whois information too...

Hi Uk,

Thanks buddy, i tried without the www and it works! is there a way to change it so it shows up as www, i never did anything different to my other 50 sites lol i think

it sounds like your isp is caching the site

i think the reboot of your router/modem and your machine will now fix the issue

trying going to an actual page on your site other than the home page with/without www

i used to experience this frequently when i used to live in the UK and used BT Internet

i have spent hours on tech support with them and never got a proper answer but that was my work around...

if that doesnt work

the last think i would do is if your running windows xp or similar run a command window and type

ipconfig /renew

its been a while since i did that but i think works too...

other than that its gonna be time to pick up the phone and call your ISP
