Site not being indexed

So.. I have a domain that I bought about 8 months ago and didn't have time to develop it. So I finally got around to working on it about a month ago and it has yet to be indexed in big G. It's a great exact match domain so I don't want to just drop it. I've done an array of link building, bookmarking, pyramid, pinging, etc. and have seen no results. Even have it in google webmaster tools and have my pages submitted with the sitemap but they aren't being indexed.

My question, is if I should just cut my losses and move along by doing a 301 with the links or if anyone has any ideas on how I can get this indexed.

Further info: the domain didn't seem to be blacklisted/it was showing up in google when I first bought it. I used the same link building that I've done previously with positive effects, some sites being indexed within 10 minutes of updates, so I don't think it's anything to do with my links.

Anyway, any assistance is greatly appreciated.

It looks like this domain has bad link profile and then it was deindexed. I would suggest you to publish unique content on the site. Try to post every couple of days unique article, then try some social signals, as they are pretty important.

Yes, try it. The unique content will help for sure. There are couple good content providers here in BST section find their services and use them as they are cheap. I'm thinking too, that couple of links from high PR site will help. Maybe some manually made web 2.0 or press release in combination with the unique content and the social signals will index your site again.

Yeah, I have some articles I'm working on posting, just was getting a bit frustrated with the lack of indexing. Thanks again for the help.

I'd probably do a reconsideration request with Google too, although if you think your links to it aren't whitehat enough, then this could be a bad idea.

Do double check:

- there is no: noindex in your pages somewhere
- there is no funky .htaccess (or webconfig if you're using IIS7 hosting rather than Linux) stuff going on

Thanks, one of my plugins had NOODP and NOYDIR, disabled those, but not sure how they would block the site, but now it's wide open.

The advice of James is good, but first try with the content, then if nothing happened try the reconsideration with g00gle.

Search video in youtube in your niche. write 200 words around it and make a post in your site. If can make a fresh video, it will be great. within 24 hours , your site will be seen in google. done this at least a dozen time in similar situation and always successful.

if it did not get indexed even after creating sitemap then delete the sitemap and create again.try to get backlinks from other site,if you get traffic from there,it gets indexed easily.Try to submit your link to directories
