Site Migration Tasks / Checklist?

Hi guys,

I have a site that is being re-designed and re-launched in September. The domain will remain the same.

I've compiled this list of tasks that will need doing. What else will need doing to ensure that no visibility is lost, and that SEO isn't negatively impacted once the new site is live?

Crawl Existing Site (Screaming Frog)
Crawl Test Site (Can I use screaming frog to crawl a new site, or will i have to do this through another method such as this http://deepcrawl.co.uk/guides/selecting-domains)
Crawl Live site post migration (Screaming Frog)
Compare the crawled lists. At this stage I'll be looking to make sure all the pages are there, and nothing is 'missing'. What else should i be looking for?
Find Broken Links, 404's.
Address broken links
Compile a list of 301's to remedy the 404's
Implement Re-directs through htaccess
Use the change of address feature in WMT to ensure it is pointed at the new site
Check that Google Analytics is working
Make sure robots.txt is allowing spiders to crawl the site
Generate Sitemap & Submit to WMT

How does this look? Anything major i've omitted?

Looks good to me But you will still loose some rankings and possible need to be reindexed. Make sure all of your ON-Page SEO is the same, meta tags, descriptions, etc ...

looks good always make sure that the keywords and all the site content can be visible in code, sometimes in new redesigns people forget this and puff half your stuff it not visible

Are the tools ive listed good to use, or would you recommend somethin else?

This checklist is way too complicated. Take it easy on yourself and do everything gradually. These are the steps I follow each time I move a WordPress site:

- Backup database
- Move site using the free Duplicator plugin
- Test site
- Implement 301s
- Check for broken links
- Fix broken links
