Site Licence Question - Thrive Themes

I usually have no problem paying for a multi site licence for multiple sites using the same theme (four sites) but I detest the way Thrive nickle and dime you for every single add-on, feature etc.

Is there any particular reason to buy multiple licences instead of ftp copying the files over?
