Site just won't Rank!

Hey guys,

I launched my site over 20 days ago and it still isn't ranking for any of the keywords I'm pushing it for, link building has been done (I've used 2 BHW packages and done some of my own link building) - The site is ranked for the EMD (ofcourse) and I've never had a site before that doesn't come up for keywords within the first 1-2 weeks.. NEVER! and it's starting to bug the hell out of me.

Above is my SERPBook link which tracks the main keywords I'm targetting, though I have around 50 total anchor texts that I've been building with.
According to AHREFs - 68 Referring domains & 3.8k Backlinks.

Any ideas?

Have a bit of patience...20 days is hardly a millenia

Havent had a chance to really look at the site but sort out your robots.txt and sitemap.xml for a start .

I need a sitemap yeh, unfortunately I can't find a plugin that autogenerates for the forum (as new posts/threads get added each day). I'll be adding the robots.txt soon as well :)
 
I got the same problem. Can't rank any site recently, even ZERO competition . What's going on?
 
one month old sites, no competition, EMD,

Tires1:
high PR web 2.0,
social bookmark,
press release,
Tire 2:
web 2.0 profile,
wiki,
web 2.0

No result ..after 1 month , not in top 1000.
Are SEO already totally changed?
 
how many tier 1 do you have?
how many approximate tier 2?
anchor text diversity for t1?
 
your site is actually ranking in my serps.
It may not be for the keywords that you want.

I have about 40 T1,
approx 200 t2.
use nake URL and long tail as anchor.

I think it is enough for no competition keywords.
 
If i was searching for any of those keywords, and your site showed up in the first 3 pages, i would think that google was doing a poor job.

If i managed to get to your site, i would be out of there in less than 1 sec, as the post count is so low.

I usually need like 100 t1 before I see my low competition keyword site in the serps.
 
Am I wrong or you wanna rank 20 days old site for "runescape forum" using 2 BHW packages ?
 
Okay I just had a better look at your serpbook "keywords" and wow....you are going to struggle to rank for those keywords with any amount of time and budget

League of legends, Minecraft ?? Its hard enough to rank against corporations without going up against mega passionate neckbeards with 20 hours a day spare to dedicate to gaming.

To the other guys struggling to rank. Stop building links and web 2.0s. Just put your site up.optimise the on page seo and add content constantly. You dont need to check for rankings in the first month.

We have a re-direct from 1 of my domains as well which seems to of created a ton of backlinks as well.
 
I never get why people try to mess up their so new sites with so many links. It is like putting a burden of 100 kilos on a baby.
 
It takes 6 months to a YEAR or more to rank many keywords... This thread is funny! sry guys!
 
Did you do keyword research? You're either going to have to rethink your strategy or rethink your keywords. Either way, you need some thinking.
