Site jumps on google, normal?

3 weeks ago i created 2 new sites, they got indexed and so i started backlinking...
the site rank improved but now they keep jumping between second to sixth site of google on a daily basis.
is this normal? because in the long run i want to make it to the first page and stay there...
so will it stop in the future?

It's called a google dance and it's normal.
Just let them sit for a while and it will stop.
