i know of a site that was penalized. -30 for duplicate content

they did SOMETHING to remove it (maybe simply removed the duplicate content)
and somehow forced G to crawl their site the immediately and now they are back to normal

HOW IN THE WORLD do you get G to crawl your site right away?!

a site! a rival! i have no idea what they are doing?

but they have a blog connected to their site.. but it was last updated in MAY

how are these people getting their site to be immediately crawled whenever they want!

hmmm. i think it has something to do with your adwords. possible add a link for g crawl to come to your site as often as the other guy. I know there is some code for that.

You can request that Google review your site again after you fix it-- you put in the request through Google webmaster tools. I got a client's site un-banned in one day and it was on page one the next. Very possible!

The point: they removed the dup content, google get's it his way. End of discussion

How to confirm the site that was penalized for duplicate content? my site seem penalize -50 by google ,and I have no idea how to find penalty reason?any suggestion pls

No way to know for sure with Google, just trial and error.
