I have just launched a site, and I have been regularly adding new content to it. I want to do some back linking, but I'm not sure where to begin. This whole site is really an experiment and I would like to keep things as simple and organic as possible.

SO... What are some simple ways to gain some back links?

1. make social networking page, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr and Google+ are the main ones.

Add your latest post to each of them and use sites like addmefast to drip feed social signals, 5-10 a day on each article for a month seems to get me good results (GEO tarket UK and US).

2. Buy a vpn and start with bookmarking from sites like Digg Reddit and so on 10-15 per article over a week or two period.

3. Make videos and upload them to Youtube, Dailymotion and Vimeo.

That's 18-23 "whitehat" links per article.

Use web 2.0 sites, Guest blogging, forum signatures and create Pages on Social Network sites. Youtube is a third party that makes money and delivers targeted traffic to your blog.

Follow these forums and you will be on your way.

Create some web 2.0 sites. If your site has good images, pinterest and instegram are pretty effective. Look into creating some infographics. You can find some decent fiverr gigs to get some made. There are several sites you can submit them to and they have a big potential of bringing in lots of backlinks.

Get backlinks from high authority domains in the form of profile links or content. Social networking sites offer profiles and web2.0s offer content publishing with contextual links. Go for them.

promote your website, catch end user's eve and make them your regular users by posting interesting and entertaining content.. then you may request adsense and earn mate (Y)

Also look at adwords to get some targeted traffic.Do Seo for your posts and get traffic directly from search engine.

Use of social media like Facebook, Twitter etc will help you lot. Start from there.

You don't necessarily want backlinks. What you want is traffic, and that is achievable without backlinks too.

I am intrigued... how does one get traffic without back links?
