I had a site which I redesigned around 2 weeks ago. I added Ai content but it’s written by a copywriter with human edit. But nothing is happening . What does that mean if I am not in top 100? Is the content bad ? Am I penalized ?

Not ranking in the top 100 after a redesign doesn’t always mean the content is bad or you’re penalized. Google often takes time to recrawl and understands new pages, especially after big changes. Keep updating, improve internal links, add some quality backlinks, and wait a bit longer. It can take a few weeks before rankings start moving.

2–3 weeks is still very early to judge results. Google needs time to fully crawl the site, index new content, assess topical relevance and build trust signals before rankings begin to stabilize.

In the meantime, continue strengthening:

• Internal linking structure
• On-page relevancy
• Technical optimization
• Sitemap submission and indexing checks

Almost every site experiences this “quiet phase” after initial work. What matters most now is consistency and patience , results start to show once Google completes its evaluation cycle.

It means you should not use AI content at all. At current time, when webmasters are not even able to make it through original content, do you think content written by public AI is having any chance ?

It means your ai content is bad :)

You have to wait more as two weeks is not enough to evaluate.

Its only 2 weeks since you made changes, don’t assume you will get penalty due to bad content. Google simply hasn’t understood or trusted the new version yet. A redesign + AI-assisted content resets signals it takes time to recrawl and built trust. Focus on strengthening E-E-A-T, fixing internal linking, improving crawl paths, and building a few authority links. Once trust kicks in, rankings usually follow.

A 2-week drop is normal after a redesign. Google is still re-crawling and rebuilding trust.
Not being in the top 100 doesn’t mean penalty just that your new pages haven’t earned relevance yet.
Improve internal links, add real value, and give it some time.

If you're not ranking in the top 100 after a redesign, it usually means Google is still re-evaluating your site not that you're penalized or your content is bad.

A two-week-old update with no ranking movement is normal. Unless Google is explicitly warning you, you’re not penalized , you just need more time, authority and competitive advantage in the content.

If you're not in the top 100 after two weeks, Google just needs more time to trust your new content.

Google is still rechecking your redesigned site, so it may take time to appear in the top 100. It doesn’t mean your content is bad or that you’re penalized. A few quality backlinks and patience usually help rankings start moving.

Your website is only 2 weeks old, so it's too early to evaluate anything. Check Google Search Console to see if your content has been indexed. Continue developing quality content and check the results after a month.

If your site isn’t in the top 100, it means Google doesn’t trust it yet—fix your SEO basics and build strong backlinks to push it into the rankings.

I don’t think this is a serious issue, because lakhs of articles and pages target keywords in the same way to push themselves into the rankings. Sometimes it doesn’t work, or due to an overflow of similar topics, Google may not properly validate your website.

So, I suggest focusing on keyword research and writing user-relevant content to increase your organic keyword count. This may help move your website into the top 10 pages. Nowadays, it’s really hard to increase organic keywords, so competitor analysis is very helpful in this process. Let’s try this and wait for the next 1–2 months, then update the feedback.

I can’t say for sure that this will work, SEO is full of trial and error and learning new things. Be confident and keep going. All the best.

Not ranking in the top 100 after two weeks doesn’t mean your content is bad or penalised, it usually just means the site needs more time, authority, and indexing signals.

It depends on the competition. You need to vet your content against that of your competitors. If your content is not up to the mark or you've bulk published a lot of content, then it could be a shadow ban. Google gets a sadistic pleasure pushing some sites down even if they offer great content. You just need to wait for some time to see if Google gives up. If your rankings don't improve, you need to figure out the root cause of the issue. Meanwhile, it's better to continue publishing content and sharing it on social media.
