Hey guys how are you? I need some help my site has been negative seo'd disappeared off the front page of google for my search term and I notice that some people that were competing for the term at one time are back. I checked majestic and all kind of links were pointed toward my site within the last 5 days from little crappy sites. Now I know why I am no longer on page 1. Is there a way to correct this and quite honestly what is the best way to return the favor? Thought about a few fiverr gigs for them.

I wonder just any fiverr gigs something with a lot of links? Should I get them indexed to?

If you really want to save this site all you can do is play Google's shitty game : go into Webmaster Stools and do the job Google couldn't do : disavow those links. That's all you can do.

Yes I was just looking at webmaster tools and saw that. Man that's a lot of links to get rid of. What is strange is I can't see my site on either of my computers but I can on my phone anyway thank you for the input!

If some of the links are from the same domain, you can disavowal the entire domain (in fact, I'd do than anyway).

The easiest way to get that lost rankings back is to 301 your tanked domain to a new domain with the same content and internal link structure.

If the url ranking for your search term is a page on your site and not the root domain, you can try 404'ing the page and create a new one and send some high PR links to that page.

Unfortunately I don't have any advice to return the favor because you certainly can't be sure on who blasted those links.

Run GSA and blast until you rank.... Try to buy some new domain and do seo for side by side.

Guys. I wonder how the big brand websites, news websites and online portals deal with negative seo since they can't just switch their domain name (because of branding). Anyone got any idea?

1) Disavow.
2) Add content, subpages for your target kw/ link to that
3) I never use my home page as the page I want to target for my anchor/target kw as it is too hard to tweak when this crap happens. If you have a subpage, you can always create a new subpage, 301 the old one, and then re-rank asap, with often no penalty or at least for a good period. Penalty comes? Repeat.
4) Seo tip: structure something like this: Yoursite.com/keyword subdirectory/keyword sub-sub directory/kw subpage. Works pretty well ;)

Good luck. And remember, all is fair and love and war. If you know who did this, then you have some options. You didn't design this system- Google did. Let them figure it out. Meanwhile, let it rain.

well the big brands don't really have to worry so much about negative seo since they are high autority domains with a lot of linkpower behind them, and they all have domains that has a lot of age wich basecilly means that google won't penalize them for any type of link spam even if it contains KW like viagra and porn and shit like that besides in order to do negative seo on them you would need a crapload of links aka more than any fivrr gig could ever do.
Big brands has to worry about negative marketing in a lot of other ways though but as far as seo goes there is a diffrence between sites

Ah good to know. I always thought every site on the web was prone to negative SEO.
So this means in order to escape the "death of negative SEO", we have to build authority sites.

maybe wmt disavow links can help you but it can take months..
good luck

Your only options are to disavow or to start over. There are some Fiverr gigs that are actually created for negative SEO purposes. Just search for "negative SEO" ON Fiverr.

Just follow suggestions on this forum. Go to your webmaster tools and link disavow all bad links pointing to your site. Thereafter, create high quality backlinks.
