Site has been crawled but not indexed

I've a problem indexing my website.
A few days ago I've added my money site to the GWT and submitted the sitemaps. All pages are crawled but not indexed.
Two pages I've manually indexed with the option: Fetch as Google -> and then index this result.
When I do a search for: site:mysite.com, it only displays two results. And these are the two which I have manually fetched as Google.

Anybody has an idea why my site doesn't get fully indexed?

wait longer, nowadays it takes time to index some fresh pages

It usually takes some time for a site to index, while you are waiting you should install XML sitemap, which will max it easier for your pages to get indexed.

I already did that. That's one of the reasons why I thought G would index my site faster then in now does

I've been having the exact same issues, I will wait a couple of days to see if it indexes.

I've read various topics about indexing in G. Some say that it is just a matter of minutes/hours when you submit your url in GWT and some say that it can take up to 4 weeks or longer.
However I've build various sites before and they indexed much faster. So I'm starting to think that I've done something wrong or that G doesn't like my site...

If you provide the link of your website then, you will get the exact solution of your problem.
BTW, Is your website in WordPress?

Yes it is a wordpress site. I've build multiple sites in Wordpress before, all optimized and indexed by G.

Google is being weird lately. Took a week to get a page indexed and a test page which is now redirected has taken over a week to fall out of the index.

Things are definitely slower at the moment.

Resubmit sitemap again on Google webmaster tools

Yes I've already done that. I guess that G nowadays needs way more time to index a site. I've read that more people had trouble with this for the last couple of weeks.

Why not use fetch as Google for all the pages of your site?

I had a similar issue past days but after 10 days all my pages are indexed

I'm start doing that from now on. But actually Google must index my site all by it self, right?

Ok, for me it is now 2,5 weeks since I submitted the sitemap and still only a few urls indexed

Submit sitemap regularly for quick indexing

Submit your site with GSC is a basic.

You need create a sitemap in html too and anchor your most important links from home.

It may be obvious, but have you checked in your Wordpress settings if you allow the search engines to crawl your website (Settings > Reading).
