I stumbled upon the website onion browser TOR, which helps the underworld connect with the underworld, relating to Hacks.

Can a website be hacked so badly that it can be taken down?

Can a websites infrastructure be hacked and all email data be stolen?

Just in-case someone wants to F me.

YUP! If its online it can be hacked and stolen.... There are many dirty little tricks out there to get your comp infected and or hack your website. TOR is a browser that can be used to access the onion network. Quote: "it prevents somebody watching your Internet connection from learning what sites you visit, it prevents the sites you visit from learning your physical location, and it lets you access sites which are blocked".

I was somewhat surprised what is out there on other forums to do this kind of thing. That's why I read those forums as well. I wouldn't go near TOR though.

TOR is nothing more than a network designed to offer maximum privacy and anonymity. It's the criminals and perv-types you want to keep away from on TOR, but the network itself is brilliant. Many news agencies use it to exchange private (and anonymous) communications with their informants, whistleblowers, etc. Snowden used TOR to communicate with Glenn Greenwald as well.

I looked at TOR one time. I went on the "hire-a-hitman' site. I never returned. I've heard there is child porn on there too. Another reason to stay well away. But I don't know that much more about TOR. It's just kinda creepy that you are always being watched while you're there.

hacking a website is definitely possible. And its easy to taken down. And yes, those subscriber, who subscribed to that website, are stored in a Database. and it can be retrive as well. But, if you are talking about Tor, like other people said here, it offers a secure connection. Some may use it for privacy where other may use it to bypass the proxy limitation issue. But, if you are really interested about hacking you might want to play with backtrack or kali linux a bit. Its' not an application/software, just google around and you will get to know it.

Thanks
