Site Get Rank Without much more SEO implementation ?

I am working on a niche based websites. My website niche is related to hosting and domain etc. I was doing keyword research with my tool semrush and also from adwords. After i analyzing the some keywords. I got one keyword "Cheap Web hosting". I did find competitors to the relevant of the keywords in google.com . I saw a website name inexpensivewebhosting(dot)reviews. it was on first page 8 position. Before analyze this, i start analyze each website and find some resources. And According to majestic it shows 1496 external backlinks.

Now we come to the point

inexpensivewebhosting(dot) reviews was ranked without any SEO implementation. Even they don't had DA only 1 and one thing is special i found he did some Guest posting which i found from the moz tools that only 8 back-links from ethical sites, with different anchor text.

My question is

How we can rank a website without much more implementation of SEO on high volume keyword

1) The Site Does not had DA
2) In semrush it shows zero back links ? Why
3) In Moz I found 8 Back-links from ethical Sites which are do-follow but why he put different anchor text apart from putting "cheap web hosting"
4) 8 back-links from ethical sites with different anchor text ?


Is there any who can consult well on this

Checked whois? Is it from India?

One of the rare instances where a site is ranking based solely on the keywords within the domain.

Might be the "honey moon" phase though, have you checked to see what the age of the domain/site is?

Have a domain that has hundreds/thousands of high TF backlinks.

They could be doing extensive linkbuilding via SAPE links or PBNs and having for each site's a robots.txt disallow for crawlers of majestic, ahrefs, semrush etc.

This way they could have thousands of linking domains in google but no link checking tool could see it.

After a quick search in google for the phrase links:inexpensivewebhosting.reviews it shows 106.000 results, you should look into that too.

Site looks fairly new so links should be fairly new as well, keep checking the above mentioned phrase on google once a week, maybe you'll see new links appearing.

Or it could be the case mentioned by EatSleepSEO.

if you can't have link building campaign then you have to buy domain which will have lots of backlinks from high authority domains that's it

but as you stated above there is high competition, so that kind of competition you really have to start serious link building which will take lots of hard work and patience, till reaching top of google

I search the site links in majestic very deeply. The guy get quality links from the good sites liike huffingtonpost etc. It means according to his keywords he is getting good CTR and good CPC ( if he is using Adsense on the site).

What you think on keyword methodology. Is it true that ad sense pays according to keyword CPC and CTR ratio as depend upon user action on site content ?

It may be possible that the website which you are talking about has very strong worth (like old domain age, etc.). The other reason is that may be it is very new, neat and clean site that is purely created by keeping Google Webmaster Guidelines in mind.

This can be done only for the PBN links - I have over 5 years experience working with the Sape network and you can trust me that the vast majority of the links offered there are completely visible for link crawlers such as ahrefs, majestic, opensiteexplorer, etc
