So i have built a site, but am now wondering what should be my first steps to get it ranking? On-page is done according to @WebMinati guide.

I have no links pointing to it as of now. I know i need to build branded links but am still a tiny bit confused what exactly this means? Should i go manually share each and every post to a tumblr, twitter, pinterest,fb, and any other accounts i can find? Then maybe do some blog comments?

Like is there an order of how things should go? Site is only 3 weeks old. Has maybe 60k words on it. (wrote the content first then bought the domain). Wasn't able to educate myself too much as of yet, as I have shiny object syndrome so had to just get started before i saw something else shiny.

Branded anchors are:
And etc.

You have to get links on social websites and all the clean websites you can find on your niche with branded anchors.

Once that's done, look into my other tutorial, which explains ifttt. Setup that on your site or YouTube channel.

Google lumen5, free now and good software to make videos fast.

It can help you with initial link building.

You can start outreaching as well, and score a few links.

You have to read my journey to get ideas on how to score links.

Soon I will share my offpage methods here...
Till then you can build a strong base :)

setup social signals from various social media for getting instant users. after that do niche related backlinks.

Always out here helping the little guys. Respect your work! :)

I think you should get some HQ PBN links to your site to get the link juice started. HQ links as in links that can contribute towards increasing your site's authority and SERP ranking once added.
If you have some good guest posts or links from good quality articles, that will also add brownie points to your site as well.
And with those link juice flowing, add social signals to the mix, to make it look more natural.

Okay I’m on the video part now, do you mean use lumen to make videos to post on YouTube and then link to each of our post from description?

First of all, congratulations!

After a website is launched you need to take care of many things. Here are the most helpful:

Create a semantic core – prepare a list of targeted keywords for your niche (favourite tool of the majority of SEOs is Keyword Planner, but it's up to you which tool to use)

Consider website structure - the better it is the better SEO

Find out the cost of Top 10 for your keywords to plan your budget

Prepare a detailed link building plan

Get backlinks with diverse, unique anchor texts & different keywords (branded, url, general etc.)

Surround your links with content - such links work much better and do not look like spam

On-page optimization is basics of your SEO

Keep it up until you accomplish your link building plan - don't expect quick results and high rankings in 2 weeks

Ask SEO experts if you don't feel confident

Download our misc guides for SEO, there are many free of them like Google on-page guide or Moz

When you implement a new feature of SEO don't forget to track your results

Get backlinks from diverse sources - social, forums, guest posts etc.

Update your blog with new content regularly

Don't underestimate UI/UX to improve SEO

With a new site, my first steps are to set up profiles on the major social networks and to claim the brand name on the main web 2.0s. How many of these you want to do is up to you, but you could easily set up 10 profiles and 20 web 2.0s on different platforms. I wouldn't bother with that many - just the main ones such as Wordpress and Tumblr. You'll need good quality, relevant content for each of the web 2.0s. They are an extension of your money site. Make sure you only use brand and URL anchor text.

I might also pay for a press release, again where the link uses brand or URL anchor text.

None of that will give any significant rank improvement because none of those pages you create have any links to them. But they will be the start of a balanced anchor text profile.

You then have the choice of using higher risk services that link to your web 2.0s, or lower risk services that link directly to your money site. What is high risk or low risk depends on your appetite for risk.

A site is just an appearance of a much larger project. When done correctly a website may never
be "finished". At the height of success you may create an authority site that outlives you. In any case
a marketer must think in terms of continuity.

A site without traffic is like a candle sitting in a dark room without being lit. Find traffic my friend.

Hi Kaden! I suggest you start with creating social media accounts and then try to guest post to similar niche blogs. Getting a do-follow link from quality sites will be good for you.

I would do steps 2 and 3 from this thread (which is a great read BTW): https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/seo-guide-for-2017-building-and-ranking-sites.959735/

Also take a look at this thread: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/seo-guide-for-2017-building-and-ranking-sites.959735/

Basically:
Create some social profiles
Get a couple of social signals from a service (just a few drip fed)
Create some Web 2.0s and link to your site
Get some expired Web 2.0s and link to your site
A press release if you can afford it

Focus on Brand and Naked URL anchors to the homepage ONLY (BlackHatWorld, Black Hat World, BHW, https://www.blackhatworld.com/, www.blackhatworld.com).

Do that for several weeks and see which keywords start popping up naturally. Later on you can focus on outreaching for guest posting, or looking into PBNs... not for a while though.

okay did it. Made 2 this morning, posted and linked back. videos are just slideshows but good enough i guess. i just read a method you made a while back. pbns>video> $ article. but you said this is a churn burn method? any update on how this holding up for you, are you still ranking?
thanks

check out a thread called "How to Rank - A Quick Guide for Newbies." (sorry, i tried to post a link but the system seems to think its spam)
