Site Explorer Shutting Down?

Is it shutting down for real this month? Anyone else heard of this?

Yes they are. They will be merging with Bing, providing a brand new API.

Yes, I posted this over a month ago when a member asked how much is site explorer scraper was worth. Told him not much because MS has plans to shut down site explorer and offer the data on an API for a fee. I was called crazy - go figure, most on here don't keep up with Microsoft news and press releases.

Thats awesome so the API won't actually disappear they will just make a Bing one? You got any source?

I know the online interface isn't being removed it's just being moved over to Bing.
