Site disappeared from 2 keywords

Hey,

I'm still ranking for plenty of keywords on my main site, but it's disappeared from 2 keywords i was working on according to market samurai, i was 18th and 23rd (pretty competitive) now it's just gone, i've lost quite a few keywords actually.

I did have some downtime on that site recently, but only 6 hours max, and it appears now those 2 keywords aren't ranking. It's been like this for 12 hours at least.

What do we think? I mean it hasn't been de-indexed and everything i'm doing is white-hat, so no reason for it anyway.

So Google dance? Downtime caused it? Any ideas?

Do you still rank for 'allinanchor:keyword'? If so you might have tripped a filter and need more links with other anchortexts.

I would think more than likely google dance, but only time will tell. You may have to do some more backlinking for those 2 keywords to get your site re-established for them.

Nope, doesn't appear for 'allinanchor:my keyword' either, so is that a good or a bad sign?

Its happening to a few people since google done the updates

Just keep backlinking and it will probably go back to normal again

Ok minor update, just used serprush to check and turns out it sees the site between 20th-30th (page 3) on google, so maybe market samurai/my IP just doesn't like it right now or something.

I guess it would be Google dance. I had sites ranking in top three, disappear for a week, come back on 10th or something, and then end up on page three, only to slowly slog back up after more hard work to the first page again.

Keep on pushing and you'll get back on top.

seems like a normal google dance, happend to me a lot of times...but your website will come back again!

i have same problem, my 2nd and 3rd keyword dissapeared, it happens twice a week... i am sure this would be google dance, but i hate it... lost 30% traffic.

It's gone to 7th now so i'm fine with that, although will this just keep happening all the time or does it eventually become stable?
