Site De-Indexed - How do I get it back?

I've been working on offline SEO for the last few months. One client of mine asked me to get their site on the first page of Google for their city+keyword.

I ran one SENuke campaign with Web 2.0 properties and some article submissions. One blast using ScrapeBox and another using a StatBlaster. The site itself is highly optimized with every SEO technique I could do and the domain age is 9+ years old.

Fast forward 3 weeks, I hit #1 for their target keyword. It stayed there for roughly a month and my client was very happy.

Now the bad news... Two weeks ago, I noticed it completely dropped off the search pages. I thought it was the Google Dance, but the site has not showed back up. The site is still ranked for some easy keywords, but for actual keywords I ran the SENuke and ScrapeBox campaign on, its not ranked.

What did I do wrong and any suggestions on how to get back on the first page?

did you copy the content on the original website and post it somewhere else?

if so....change it and you'll see your rankings come back...normally......

You could ask for a reconsideration, but I wouldn't get my hopes up

I did copy some content from the original website, but I did try to make my blasts at least 30% unique by using Power Article Rewriter.

I will try changing those web 2.0 properties and articles.

I guess "de-indexed" isn't the correct term. The site shows up for other keywords, but not the ones I actually targeted. So I don't think asking for a reconsideration would do much.

im guessing you're suffering for the keywords that has duplicate content?

just copy a sentence on the page and search it through google with quotations

see if your site shows up or some other site
do it for the top/middle/bottom content

if the other site ranks higher than yours for that search string then you have your answer

having worked with a lot of penalized sites...duplicate content and linking to bad neighborhoods is the common reason for penalty or filter

reconsideration is good for
1. if your whole site is penalized
2. if one page is penalized
3. if you're penalized for 1 keyword

google DOES penalize for 1 keyword so a reconsideration request will/can work

just write the request and STATE THE KEYWORD in the request


before you even do that request make sure you clean up ALL duplicate content....wait 7days if nothing happens then do the recon request

Mix up your anchor text a bit more next time as well. Several thousand links, spammed links, popping up with the same anchor text is going to raise some red flags. Especially when they pop up suddenly together.

no it's not

i have done several thousands in 1 day with the same anchor text and never have a problem

links don't mess up a site ...if they did then give me your site and i'll deindex you

if that were true .... we would rule the internet by link spamming our competitors so they will get penalized
