Hi all,

My site was completely deranked from google a few days ago, the site has around 2 months and it had been doing quite well in the first months. I've been adding content to it pretty much everyday and was all going fine.

However, a the site got completely deranked, everything disappeared from google rankings and search console also shows barely any impressions (few are from me searching site:xxx).

Any idea why this happened and how I can fix it? Really strange why everything disappeared from one day but I don't really know what to do here.

Besides creating content on a daily basis for the 2 months the site is live, I bought 3/4 backlinks for the site, could that cause for this? I feel it's a bit strange that 3/4 backlinks could cause it but have no idea what happened. Checked on google console and says I have no manual penalties as well.

Thank you for the help

Check for algorithm updates first; Google's changes often impact new sites. The few backlinks you bought might be a red flag if they're low-quality, risking a negative impact. Ensure there are no technical SEO issues or content violations. Google's guidelines are strict, and even small missteps with new sites can lead to visibility problems. Keep an eye on Search Console for any messages and consider a thorough SEO audit to identify potential issues.

Remove your site name OP. EDIT: Ah, it's too late now.

By doing some research I see that your site has 140+ pages indexed.

Everything seems ok, maybe there was an error that lasted a few minutes, but nothing, everything is ok, at least from what I can see.

Thank you for the reply.

What do you mean to remove the site name sorry?

It's weird because pages are indexed but all disappeared from google rankings, it's not that they rank worse, they simply disappear altogether. Any idea what I can do to fix this?

Thank you for the feedback.

Any suggestion on how I can check those to try to understand what happened here?

I checked console and there is no information of error or manual actions that were taken against the site.

The pages are all indexed as well as before, they just disappeared all from google rankings.

We had some niche pages that were ranking first in google, for example, and those disappeared as well.

I know it's a new site and impossible to outrank competitors with years, but we were doing quite decently in impressions and it went to zero from one day to another.

Thank you again for the help

Your website is going through the "Google Dance," which is a natural process for new websites as their rankings settle. The fact that there are no manual actions and all pages are indexed suggests that this is most likely a temporary issue. It would be beneficial to monitor any changes in Search Console and also evaluate the quality of your backlinks, as low-quality ones can have a negative impact on your site. A great way to boost your rankings is by producing top-notch content and enhancing the overall user experience. Remember that consistent effort and time are key ingredients for improved rankings.

Oh ok that's good to know, so completely disappearing from google rankings is normal for new sites from your experience correct?

Thank you again

I mean on your website, as that's the #1 rule, never share your websites around, you never know who's watching.

Thank you for the reply.

You are welcome.

It's been just 80 days, something like that, those are peanuts, this is how it looks on one of my sites after 80 days...

These are peanuts also, but it is enough to indicate to me after just one month that I am on the right track.

After 3 months, everything is clear, you simply continue to generate good articles, find good keywords with very low KD, and slowly, with your images, videos, social sharing, and daily activity, you build everything slowly day by day.

All this with 15 posts, a 3-month-old website, and (around) 15 posts published on:
  • Twitter
  • Facebook Page
  • Facebook Group
  • Instagram
  • YouTube
  • TikTok
  • Pinterest

In total already have over 1,000 followers and it will all grow unless I stop.

Everything else is clear.

Build a strategy, a goal, and action... And just go with it.

You have to understand that you have entered a very strong competition with your site, there is a lot of money in the game, I wouldn't want to dissuade you from your idea, but maybe there is another way to start something new where there won't be so much competition.

Anyway... Your site is still very young, it is going through a period of "testing", nothing unusual, mostly, I wish you all the best, and I hope I helped you at least a little.

Your site dropped in Google probably because of changes in algorithm or updates. Check your links, make sure your content fits Google's rules, and fix any technical problems to get your ranking back

New sites are usually tested hard by google, untill they decide final placement. It could just be google dance as members said.

Thanks everyone for the feedback, lets see if it's temporary. Just felt very it was strange that every page disappeared from google and impressions went to 0, thought google dance would be more going up and down but not disappearing
