So I assume my site was banned from adsense FEW HOURS AGO (read http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/352207-site-banned-adsense-please-help.html if you have time) and so I am trying to determine my next course of action:

1 - Should I try to sell the site immediately, and tell people they should look into monetizing it using other methods?

2 - I try other methods myself (it is almost like a "micro niche" and CPA / offers won't work in this niche...but I could try adbrite/clicksor etc though I am quite sure success will be very limited) and then try to sell it?

3 - You suggest please?

The site made me about $450 a month for two months. If I sell, how much should I look for?

The site, as of now, still ranks very high for the main keywords.

Thanks

Sell immediately on Flippa for any amount. Use BIN something..

Since its banned on adsense, you won't get much for it.

PM me your URL, I might be able to help you get it sold (Won't charge anything)

It would be very unethical for you to sell the site without full disclosure. Why dont you just apply for a yahoo publisher network account?

Okay I understand best thing to do is list it on Flippa asap - can someone please suggest how do I exactly market this?

Do I mention the adsense ban? Do I not mention it at all? Do I give details?

Urgent help needed please!

Make sure you state on Flippa

"Hello, I have a piece of crap website for sale. It's worthless to me, it makes no money anymore. Can you please take it off my hands and put it on your own webserver asap? I'm afraid it may infect my other sites if Google makes the connection. PS I only take western union because you'll just cancel your paypal payment once you find that Google has banned adsense from being displayed on the site."

If you actually get a sale with this proper disclaimer, good for you. Next you can move on up and start reselling de-indexed websites for fun and profit.

Yes, Immediately sell your site on Flippa showing your recent month's earnings. More likely there are some buyers who buy sites blindly.

Hope it helps

Best Regards
Sam

Even if the account was banned, The new owner can still use adsense on it if this site was not the reason for the ban of your account.

You're wrong. http://www.google.com/search?q=website+adsense+ban+forever, for all current and future owners. Even if it wasn't ... no one in the business of buying adsense websites would buy a banned site and put it under the umbrella of their own adsense account, putting their other sites in jeopardy. It's like selling a pig you know has the H1N1 virus and not telling the new owner, he puts it with the rest of his flock and they all die.

You're wrong. Website banned from adsense = forever, for all current and future owners.

"We disabled your account" is different from "we disabled adsense from showing on that website".

Let's say you have 10 domains using your adsense ID and do nasty stuff on one domain then you get banned. only that domain will not show adsense again but others will be fine if another adsense ID is used.

I don't have details of the exact case of the OP but if it was about banning his account then someone else can put his adsense and ads will show. I'm talking from experience of buying few websites were banned from adsense before. The ads show up when you put a different ID.

Use adbrite with the max of 3 ads per page, and go with a pop under company.

Take the time to read the thread the OP linked to.

Send me a PM with some more site details, might actually consider buying it if it has some quality content.

Thanks for the useless reply. Before commenting on other people and telling them to "read the OP's post properly" and all that, you should read it properly first. I said it was not de-indexed, so the part about "reselling de-indexed sites" is completely unnecessary and out of context.

It might be piece of crap to you, because you are incapable of doing anything other than adsense, but to someone else it may have value since it's still getting 2000-3000 visitors a day.

Will get in touch with the other people who offered to help, thanks guys.

First of all your website, for you, is absolutely, without a doubt, undeniably banned from adsense and your website will absolutely, without a doubt, undeniably be banned from adsense for anyone who ever buys your website.

You then come asking for advice about the best way to commit fraud. You want to sell a website and not tell anyone that it is banned from adsense.

Do I mention the adsense ban? Do I not mention it at all? Do I give details?
So what do you want me to do, give you a golf clap for planning on frauding someone on flippa and we'll all say its cool and ok because you're not actively trying to scam someone on BHW? *golf clap* yay you're only committing fraud against flippa users yay, everyone on BHW is safe from you yay.

It is your honest belief that your website is pure trash now. Your OP reads like this (paraphrased)

Hot potato hot potato where do I throw this thing and get the most money I can from it? (it is almost like a "micro niche" and CPA / offers won't work in this niche...but I could try adbrite/clicksor etc though I am quite sure success will be very limited
Banned from adsense, CPAs won't work, you think clicksor/adbrite will be limited. And now you're defending how brilliant your website is in your last post, how it has so many redeeming values in traffic and potential profitability? pffffft

Don't feel bad, I jump on everyone I see asking for advice on committing fraud like this.

Yes I know you haven't actually sold it on flippa yet while concealing the fact that it is banned from adsense, because you haven't gotten the pat on your back with everyone here telling you its a cool thing to do. You shouldn't even have to ask a question like that -- just asking shows that you don't have any morals and everyone should stay away from you because they're probably going to get shafted.

I have no intention of committing fraud, I have an account on Flippa with amazing feedback (100%) with a lot of transactions - I wouldn`t want to risk that business for just selling one website.

I asked if I should mention adsense or not because if I say the site is BANNED FROM ADSENSE, it automatically gives a very negative impression and many people will not be interested even though it may be useful to them. Of course, if anyone asks (or before selling it), I will tell them adsense cannot be used on the site. If you don`t believe me then PM me and I`ll show you my Flippa account (how reputed it is and transactions).

My only intention was to get advice on what to do with this website, because there may be a lot that people can do with 3000 visitors a day...i Just dont know any ways (and I said that....all I know is adsense, CPA, adbrite, clicksor). But there are other ways I know - like perhaps email marketing, collecting emails first etc....I dont know, big industry!

anyway thanks for your input, but just so you know...i dont mean to scam anyone. Just want to know how to get the best value for my site...and reach the right audience.

Ride it out, if it fails, chalk it up as a loss. I have never had a site de-indexed for off page seo methods. Could have been something he did in his content?
