I need advise as someone has attacked my site with lots of blog comments mostly no follow in the adult niche (keywords such as viagra, blowjob, etc) website has nothing to do with adult content!! Now just found lots of links with our main 2 keywords in it, blog comments again.

I read that mass spamming will get the site a manual inspection by google! Even though they are no follow, google "nofollow backlinks for negative seo+Matt Cutts"

200,000 links in both, in just 3 weeks! I know about the disavow stuff, but I think it is too late now? The site is less than 6 months old. Am I best starting again?

If you disavow the links then G will not think you made them.

That sort of mass spam doesn't usually affect a site. In fact, adult keywords are obvious that they're being used for negative SEO purposes if the target site has nothing to do with them. In most cases Google discounts these links as any legit webmaster wouldn't build 200K unrelated links today.

0008Rohit, I disagree as a competitor targeted another site and sent 100K spam links in 3 weeks (main keyword) and I got a penalty and removed from Google for a totally different url!

I just want to know whcih to clean up first - which is likely to do most damage????? Experts please?

if we are brand Google will avoid those links.
For ex: We cannot able to ban the website apple.com by negative SEO.
but we can push a new website...

have a look at backlinkmonitor and disavow all new links by a single click

You may be best to either start a new site or attempt to remove the links. I've seen quite a few sites that got spammed to death via negative SEO that plummeted in the rankings post Penguin.

Again it really depends on how they spammed, and to what extent. How did you find the spam links?

Found links with Ahrefs.

which links are the most damaging? SO I remove them first...

If the subject of your site is different ,i think spam on adult niche keywords dont hurt your site and you can simply use google disvow tools .

Yeah google isn't so stupid, the adult links obv wont have anything to do with you. I'd say disavow all the same.
