Hey, all me AGAIN!

I just got my first site ranked by Google after 4 weeks after launch, I know this doesnt affect serps or ranking but it does show the quality of linking and the site and I have a few questions

The site has 26 INDEXED pages by Google:

The Front page has PR1, it has a lot of content on the page.
I have 24 pages ranked PR2
and I have 1 Page Ranked PR4, which I felt offered the least typcial hey!

I was thinking, do you think I been penelised on the frontpage for SEO in other SEOing somehow, because Its the most linked page out of the entier site I would of expected it to be higher than the others.

Maybe keyword denisty is too high? 2.3%, and maybe too many links?

What do you guys think, or is it normal to see this kind of PRing on the first update?

As far as if it's normal my 40 day old domain got PR2 so yeah. Why pages differ in PR I'm not sure, nut I'm sure someone in here will explain it.

how many pages do you have in your site,,?? what did you do for backlinks,,, can you tell us in brief..??

Hey thanks for the messages,

OK what I've done in short is.

I have 27 pages, 26 are index'd. (I only added the 27th yesterday after update)

300ish Web Directories linking to front page
200ish Blog Comments to front page
around 10-100 Blog comments on various pages
50 Article Submissions, Spun.. not sure how many got accepted.
Around 100 Forum Profiles, but no posts as yet using those.
A few web2 sites, but they stink and I cba to update em, so only have a couple of posts each,
Social Bookmarking, Google+ Facebook Twitter so far, few posts on each.
PR Releases Newsvine, a couple of posts.

About 6 content updates to the main site since release.

In the anchor texts at the start I didn't vary it a great deal, it was pretty much the same one over and over.

Not all backlinks are currently showing on Google, or Bing... I know they don't regularly update it, and I havent Pinged the backlinks. Well I did about 50 but someone said on here not to do it on such a new site, and really you shouldnt ping as it can easily flag your site, best method is to allow google to naturally find them basiclly i was advised.

Usually the front page has the highest PR's but here the case is not so. May be some duplicate content is present in the front page.

The front page is unique, and way different than the other pages, the content has been manually written by myself the front page has manual h tags, and uses way over 1000 words the PR4 page actually only has like 20 photos, and like less than 100words. Strange Hey?

Could it be I have 6 x h2 tags inside a slider before the h1? :|

You'll probably find you've got a really good backlink from somewhere that's given your one page the PR4; and that could be what's what's driving some of the other pages up too, if they're linked from that page.

Only one what comes to mind is a PR7 with about 70links on the page, but its not a blog commenting site. So maybe that.

If you've got a solid pr7 link to your pr4 page, then that's probably the main ranking factor.

Ya it is solid, must be the reason.. I could put another link on that page, so I get 71 / 2 over the PR7

Worth doing it? or is 2 links to same site not as good?
