Sister Missing in Action - Need Help

Bros my sister is Missing in action for 3 weeks now. She and her husband still communicating with us but we are not so sure if that is really her and wouldnt want to reveal their location, wouldnt give us some hint if that's really her, not replying on all of our emails. Whole family is freaking out and we dont know if she's still alive or not, Phones offline as well.

Only thing we have on my sister is the email address they are using where they sent us 2 emails for 3 weeks now. What can you suggest we would do at this very moment? Im thinking of hacking the email address and look at the sent items, Is there anyone who can do this?

We have tried most of the options like contact and visited all their friends, no one really knows where they are.

Call the police and ask then to assist you in GPS location of the phone. If that fails and the phone is truly offline, ask them to put out a request for other police to keep an eye out for her. Get the police to request her bank to report any activity on her accounts.

Try figure out why she ran away and that may lead you to where she is.

Get W130SN to solve the mystery.

Thanks for the helpful reply but Its done already, reported it since week 1 and phone is offline.

She didn't run away, she just disappeared, No phone calls, no letters. Its a family tradition for us to gather and be at the same table every sunday and shes not there, yesterday was the 3rd sunday she's gone without any notice only 2 emails.
 
Send an email to the person and include a website link where you can get their IP Address. Then do a
reverse IP look-up to see what GEO location the IP is coming from.

That "might" help you know where the person is coming from if the IP Address has been updated
with its new address location.

what did the emails contain that they sent?

when during the 3 weeks were the emails sent?

do either of them have a facebook?

you won't find anyone here who will hack an email for you, no matter what the story.

you can get their IP address easily. if they sent one to gmail, you can see the message headers by clicking the arrow next to reply and then "show original". towards the top you'll see something that says "client-ip=*.***.***.**" that will give you the IP address the message was sent from. Should be pretty easy for the FBI to take it from there. You can head somewhere else with that IP and ask someone to sniff for ports on it or geo located it with infosniper. I would really contact the FBI though.

If your sister has been missing for 3 weeks, I'd be very suspect of the husband. Have you been able to reach him? Has she ever done this before? Are you located in the US?

To be frank with you, if one of my brothers or sisters went missing for just 2 days I'd call the police. That way you get an investigation going and if you need to hire an investigator yourself, then you can do that too. I'm really curious if there is anything "odd" you noticed before she went missing? And financial troubles? Arguing with the spouse? Change in behavior? Anything?

Thanks for the reply and thanks for the tip on the hacking so that's out of the option, appreciate that. Still looking for some options as well. The email is private and not gmail its .mail but I would try your suggestion and see if it has an IP address or do what rabbit king suggest to get the IP lookup. Emails were sent 1 last week and the other were 3 days after they disappeared. Yes FB has no activity since they disappeared

Any other suggestions available? Still looking for other options but the IP address fishing is on the way.

First you need a website with WordPress installed. Do you have that? If so I can recommend a free
plugin that will help assist you.

every email has headers and you should be able to get the senders IP from any client. they all have different ways of showing the headers though.

rabbitking's suggestion might be better since sometimes IP addresses change for modems. I would suggest the subject of the email be something like "Was this you on that cctv footage??" If someone's up to something they will be sure to click it. Man, got a bad feeling about this, hope all turns out alright. Here's some code that will send the visitor's IP to your email address.

//php's mail function goes mail(email, subject, message)
mail('your email','IP address', $ip);

Yes, I got a few. Will an ordinary website able to do the job? Will I need to create a page? Ill do this in tadem with bananamans suggestion.

Ill make a search on it, dont know anything about coding but I will get this one code moving. If you can get me a link where I can learn where to put this or what to do with it would really apprecaite it

Exactly our position, we are very suspected on the husband, but we cant be sure cause they are both lost. This is the first time shes done this and we are located in Surey Canada.

2 days in the same house but we are living our own lives so i think 3 weeks is a long time already. There's nothing odd we can notice since we only meet up every sunday on lunh or dinner only, no idea what's going on in her daily activities

Couple of things to consider...

1. Email clients now are blocking the senders IP Address so checking the header info does not
always yield accurate results anymore.

2. Just install this plugin.

Make sure you activate all of its features on plugins and tick the box saying your country allows
you to collect IP Addresses.

Go to the police again.

Tell them that the communications you are getting from her sound suspicious - they don't sound like her. Tell them this is totally out of character for her.

If you are suspicious about her husband, tell them that too.

The police have a responsibility to follow up and try to track her down.

Once they do that however, if your sister is OK and there is nothing wrong, the police can only tell you where she is with her permission (well that's the law in the UK anyway, not sure if it's the same in Canada)

Your other option is to hire a PI - a decent one will track her down in less than a day.
