So I'm in the process of designing a sales page for my new CB product and was wondering which has better conversions. I know minisites usually just do one landing page but I've seen some successful CB products that have a nav bar and multiple call to actions across the pages. Any thoughts?

Does it vary by product/niche? But quite honestly there's a lot of products out there with terrible landing pages and yet they are converting... There's a lot of WYSIWIG designers out there that can make you webpage look awesome. I think multipage builds credibility does it not?

Less is more .. one page ....with call to action.. not reems of text... should be all able to be sold above the fold ....
That's really helpful. I always thought people had that naturally tendency to dig more into the product they want to buy thus they'd click around more. Guess that's not the case

1 page works fine I've tried having a page 2 that focuses on the order aspect only, but it didn't change much.
Test, then test a bit and then test some more!
What works for other products might not work for yours so the only way to find out is by doing constant testing.
Just stick up a 1-page sales page at first, have the traffic stabilise and then test with a multi-page layout. Then compare the results

I don't know if i'm correct but I have been taught that the fewer clicks a person has to do gives you a bigger chanse to lead it to it's goal!
And in my ears it makes sense.

Yeah I read this one many times as well so I'll have to agree.
Make it as easy as possible for the buyer.
Probably why McDonalds has a drive-in service.
Not everyone has lot's of time to spend, people need to go to work etc.

Ironically, anytime I go to McDonald's, there is a line at the drive-through, and when I go inside, I am usually helped quickly at the counter. I end up saving time by going in.

Iv just done some split testing on this over the past few weeks.
Version A is a single page with minimal text, simple graphics, and a prominent call to action above the fold
Version B is a more detailed explanation of the product being sold, call to action below the fold, a number of different pages on the site.
Version A has had 3 times more conversions than version B so far.

How are the clicks? Comparable?
I think that, for the purpose of evaluating the landing page itself, you need to take into account conversions of the people who click through to the page (assuming the traffic source is identical between the test pages).
Just depends on your market, if they are using a one page site to buy something in that noche,,, then make is a one pager... but if your market is use to seeing a multiple page info site... then make it a multi page site...
Do some research on your market in the forums for that market... find out what products people are buying in that market....
BUT... 8 out of ten time... a one pager is more than sufficient with the right copy... or the right video on it.
Just stick to the 12 steps of making a sales page or video... here is a reference to go check out... cant post the link, but you can look it up just type in "12 step sales letter by david frey"

It's a tough subject. But multiple pages work. If you do them correctly. You need to be experienced though.
I noticed that when done correctly, a multipage process increased my conversions. But then again, I always give away TONS of information designed to sell. And it's seriously all connected.
So yes, usually the less steps people have to take the better. But the more steps they take, the more inclined they are to NOT refund their purchase. Given that you deliver on your promises and thus their expectations. Since you make them hungry for more if you do this in the right way.
I personally increased my profits on multiple occassions doing a multipage process. I got it down to a science now. But results aren't typical and can't guarantee anything for others reading this.

I think single pages are best to keep it short and simple but eh do what works for you.
