    One of the things I notice a lot in our trade is the urge to adopt new "cool" stuff. The principle of Keep It Simple Stupid though is a proven one.

    Here 's a very educational story fron Gnip. Gnip is the company that gets/processes and distributes a gazillion of data directly from Twitter (exclusive partners).

    In order to solve a "simple" conceptually issue, the first did the cool thing. After they realized it was inefficient, they did they reverted to a plain old simple tools. The comparison?
