I pretty much need a simple theme made for my WP site. Nothing flashy or crazy, it will be updated daily so there's no need.

Just use a free/ripped premium Wordpress theme that already looks close to what you want and customize it a bit.

Why not just use free themes? There are a lot of okay ones out there. If you don't need anything flashy it seems like the free ones would be ideal. If you need a little more functionality you can check www.elegantthemes.com. For $39 a year you get access to all of their premium themes. Very much worth the money.
