Simple way to get powerful niche relevant backlinks

Hey guys,

So here is a simple way to get some very good backlinks from forums in your niche. Getting links from forums are actually very good links, because forums have alot of authority. Especially moderated ones.

I had a website in the motorcycle niche, and so I made a bunch of posts on a motorcycle forum.

1. Make alot of posts.
2. Wait for those threads to get buried.
3. Edit those posts and drop your backlinks.

Because most of the time those threads are never going to get revived, you have a very high chance that those backlinks will stick very well.

Its a pretty simple method, there is not much to say about it, but I just wanted to share that. Really, the key is to find forums that will allow you to edit your post a long time after you posted it.

If you want to take it one step further, use different accounts for every post. So if a moderator sees one of your posts, then at least all of your links wont get compromised.

This is why most forums only let you edit a post within a specific time frame after you've created it (including BHW). Having that said, there are plenty of forums that doesn't have this feature/plugin therefore it's actually a useful tip.
 
Doesn't the forum software push the post back to the top of the list once it's been edited?

I would have thought a simpler ploy would be to add an anchor and link in your signature line which should add in to your existing posts and not push edits back to the top of the pile.... Of course it only gives you one anchor so some thought will need to be given to that with panda/penguin....

No, if you edit a post, it will not appear as the newest post. (in most cases)

Also, on alot of forums, your signature won't be added to your posts you made when you did not have your signature.

It is definitely unnatural and in the long run i do not think that it is a good way to get backlinks.
 
Though the idea is great and I give full respect to the OP. But I doubt how Google will treat such links.

Op how is ur experience in regards to this. Did u climb up in rankings?

Good share. Been doing this for a while, and it's very sneaky. Ironically, many forums don't let you have a link in sig, but will allow you to add links within a post.
 
You could always edit the post and hyperlink a generic keyword within your post rather than adding a smiley or period.
