Simple Twitter app needed

I need a simple desktop Twitter app made asap.

The app will need to scrape the ID's of the latest tweets made by a predefined selection of Twitter accounts, and save them into text files. I will need to be able to leave the app running on a VPS and have it compile the lists at selected times each day.
