Cool guide. This is how forums like this should work, in my opinion - you benefit from reading the advice of others and you "pay it forward" to the new users who still need that advice. It's all too easy for vets to forget that they were once new too. A post like this helps with that.

I wouldn't use Profile links. These are links on almost empty pages unless you add some content to your profile page.
