Simple SEO V/S Advanced SEO

I am always interested in learning any new curve in SEO.

In recent days, I've seen people doing insane stuff to optimize their content, such as using SurferSEO, TF IDF, etc., and on the other hand, some people including me believe in Simple SEO like putting quality content, getting some high-quality links and relax.

Now, I want to ask you does this make any difference? If yes, What it is?

I believe in simple SEO as well, high-quality content with some really high-quality links, and relax. I might look into some advance seo with surferseo and those stuff in the future.

You will have to evolve as a blogger. SEO tactics that used to work in past will not work with same effectiveness now.

SurferSEO doesn't know what UX is. It's what you would call "copying competitors" at its finest. All it does is scraping bits of text used by your competition telling you it's the way to rank.
It's like saying - if my competitor has 10k word article, I must have 10k word article as well. Completely falsy.

Don't over-complicate things.
You can buy all those super duper tools... they won't make you rank.

I do a few simple things to rank:

- Quality content.
- Optimized on-page SEO.
- strong social media presence.
- backlinks built over time.

It’s a good amount of work if you do a lot of it yourself or manually, but it does work.

Can you please expand on these two? like what is your procedure and what things do you count in those?

Of course, it makes a difference. Most of these tools, paid or free, provides important metrics - such as DA, or Domain Authority, so if some newbie chose the wrong keyword phrase to target on Google, he'll be wasting a lot of effort creating great content but still can't rank because the Google SERPs is dominated by sites with high DA, typically by well known brands.

Simple SEO works better for very low-volume keyword phrases and SERPs with no brand.

My belief is to focus most of your energy on getting traffic outside of Google, but still do proper SEO as a fallback. So many people lost the shirt off their backs because they depended too much on Google rankings, something no one outside of Google has control over.

we do simple things in seo
creating high quality good content
optimizing our SEO
creating unique creatives for social media
and focusing on trends

Aged domain coupled with long-tail kws
Gets indexed quicker

Both statements can be true.

The thing is, not everybody is capable or has the skill, knowledge, or experience to generate high-quality content.

In fact, many of us aren't even capable of evaluating what "high-quality" even means, so why do many of us feel more comfortable leveraging the power of content optimization tools such as SurferSEO, Frase, or AI writing assistants like Jasper.

If you´re one of the few that is capable of sitting down and writing highly engaging and SEO-optimized content without even having to take notice of SEO-related elements...CONGRATS!!

Others, have to invest in tools and put in some "extra" work in order to get similar results.

Alternatively, others just suffer from OCD (like me ) and need everything to be as "perfect" and "optimized" as possible and usually need the validation of a tool for this since Google doesn´t offer this service.
