simple seo tricks

ive been speaking to a guy whos ranked on a search engine for free iphone and is doing well. He said he hasnt done any seo and just done this 'trick' apprantly takes half hour to do. He dont use google, aol, bing or yahoo but another one.

The trick is also ranked first on this search engine for simple seo tricks but ive been through a few search engines but cannot find it :(

Any one got any ideas what it could be?

Well if it's not getting him ranked on any of the major search engines, it can't be very effective.
 
this guy seems to think there is says no seo involved just a simple seo 'trick'

I don't know but if you find out let me know :)
 
Unless you find a loophole in Google's algorithm (which I doubt anyone would be sharing that around) there's no magic trick to sky rocket your search engine position

However, he might be using authority press release sites to get his article with his keyword indexed quickly and on TOP

Viagra spammers used to do that shit and they were putting a autoredirect code on the article (it allowed that) and when a user was clickin on the title they were redirected to the viagra site
 
It wouldn't be a trick. Just not traditional SEO. If you aren't ranking in any of the Big SE's, what's the point of ranking at all?
 
maybe his using baidu.com or somthing for chinese people

im in a similar situation... A friend of mine had a sandwich the other day, he said it was the tastiest sandwich he had EVER had !!!

anyone got any idea what the filling could have been ??

I would have to agree with that. it is impossible for any to answer your questiong except for the person who told you that. did you really think someone on this website has the power to know the answer to a question so vague
 
slacky so who is this your friend ? Also a bhw member ? And btw if your friend really did have some success, it doesn't mean you can replicate his same success.
