Simple, self hosted fake referrer needed.

I have scrounged all around and found nothing to suit my need as of yet so I'm hoping someone can help.

Most of what I find is extremely complex stuff related to CPA tricks and such, but what I need is much more simplified. I'm only looking to redirect traffic from SiteA (hosting the script) to SiteB with a randomized set of custom referrals (maybe even browser agents?) only for ranking purposes, no CPA involved.

Much like fakereferer dot com does but I want to host it myself.

Could someone please point me to some up-to-date info?

I don't think that someone will give you that info just like that. Whole business model can be developed around the idea of spoofing / faking referers, site that you mentioned is already trying to do it right.

I will give you some hints, though.

Go to the 'demos' page on fakereferer.com and try the links.
Twitter - Not actually twitter, but t.co. Twitter, as far as I know, doesn't allow you to create t.co URLs directly, so a way to do that would be to make a tweet, and store the URL generated bt twitter for future use.
Tumblr - Tumblr does have a short URL service, which it uses to post things to user's twitter accounts, it's tmblr.co or something like that. You can also append a variable defined as the base64 encoded URL, and tumblr redirects to it. Though, that seems like a problem, and I don't know how long it'll last.
Google - It's using the redirect that happens when you click on a search result link, just replacing the URL.
Stumble - This is done by submitting the URL to StumbleUpon, so the referrer looks like the user got there via StumbleUpon.
Voila - Same thing as tumblr. Makes me wonder if Voila and Tumblr are both using some piece of software that has that built in.
URL.com - Same as StumbleUpon, except you don't need to submit anything, you can just put a URL as a GET parameter.

Wow, thanks! I thought it would be more simplified but turned out its actually more complicated than I expected. So now I believe the price they charge is worth it and I'll just go with that :cool:
 
When you get into some coding it's not so hard, just automation part require extra work. Maybe I will crank something similar for my scripts

yeah, quick no brainer is to use them.
 
I think there were couple of ref faking script shared in here in the past. Try searching for them
 
Arent you looking for something like this?

Visitor comes to Site A. The script redirects the user to any of those reputed shortners (other than crappy url shortners) and from where you will be taken to Site B.

And site B sees that the user is coming for the reputed sites.

As some one else said, Redirection would be simple, but generating urls from those sites automatically is going to be tough. And not sure if the useragents can be faked here, since it is redirection of the actual visitor, and its out of our control actually, since the user, for example goes to twitter and comes back to site B. We dont have any control on Twitter, so I assume we can fake the useragent.
