Hey Guys,

I've searched around but haven't found an answer to this one. I just started my first real clickbank campaign today. Ive done 10 original articles, 10 yahoo answers, and started an adwords campaign. So my question is how long does it take before you start getting clicks? I started early this morning and it is now 8 p.m. est and no clicks. Is this common, or did I screw up somewhere? Thanks for the help:)

BTW just from the articles, got 10 hops but no sales, so it begins I guess

if ur cpc bid is not high enough u wont get any clicks. Whats ur impressions?

If you can afford it, start your bid price real high, so that your CTR will be higher

Once that happens, your CPC will be much lower, and your ad will show all of the time (if your budget is high enough)

Yea, I always start my bids high. You usually end up with a higher quality score that way. Also, Googs can easily take a few days to put a brand new advertiser into their auction.

Hey guys thanks for the replies, well so far this is what is going on:

Clicks
4 Impressions
4,840 CTR
0.08% Avg. CPC
$0.21 Avg. CPM
$0.18 Total Cost
$0.86 My highest bid was .27, like I said this is all new to me. Hell I could never understand why people where so cautious with adwords. I just realized they charge you everynight. My original idea was just to hit it hard then pay with any profits at the end of the month. Anyway so far no sales on clickbank, yet. As long as I know the ads are at least up is a start for me. Thanks guys!

I have no tracking set up, and I am only running one campaign. But I wrote 20 ads, I think are good quality. Ill try and get tracking set up tonight, thanks

P.S. I also raised my bid, so perhaps this will help some

Lyserg is right. There's no need to run more than 2-3 ads per adgroup. Tracking keywords is also very important. Most people track also the ad copy which isn't very important in my opinion but the more data you gather the better you can optimize your campaign!

Well I've taken your alls advice and dropped down to three ads. For now I just left the three that had been clicked. I am also setting up tracking, let you know how that goes. Other than that I am mainly working on backlinks today. Ill let you all know how the ads are going latter. Thanks again.
