Simple PHP Script Help.

Hey guys this is a simple question I hope.

I basically have a revenue goal I want to reach and want a simple html/php page for this. So like reaching 100 and everytime I get revenue in I can submit that amount and it would update to X/100 for example.

How would I go about coding this? (there are probably scripts/apps like this but I want a simple html page on my website).

Not looking for someone to code it just help in what method to use to code it (as I'm learning to code slowly lol).

I would use a simple MYsql Database, but you might want to search add to total in php on google

Yea was gonna say, a simple database would work. But if its only one number, you can just update a text file in your website directory,
then have that php script read the current revenue you have, and do the calculations you need, based off that number.
