    Hello blackhatworld :)

i had an ecommerce store and some of my keywords was on page 4 now (without any pbn link) before i blast it with pbn, i want to improve my onsite seo with 1000 words article above the store gallery

In order to make my visitor experience feels great, i want to hide more than half the article with "read more"

    My question
    1. Is google will think to penalty my website? (Bcs they might think im trying to hide some content to visitor)

    Thanks
Sorry for my bad english btw :p

Your site is an ecommerce website not review site. Google rank them differently based on keywords. Again, 1000 word article put above your store will only increase bounce rate and reduce sales.

why not put it below or on a different page (with links back to the sales page)?

    You won't get penalised.

But you have to reconsider the idea about 1000 words article.

Generally People will avoid to read review if it has more than 50 words. I don't think they will read that long article.

I fail to see how adding "read more" will improve visitor experience. If the article meets user intent, they will want to read the entire article. Why force them to perform another step?

I'm assuming the entire article is indexable (visible in the source code of the page) and that the "read more" only hides it from the visitor. This is normally not a problem, but if the hidden content is not in the source code, it won't get indexed.

My goals about adding 1000 words article is to excuse thin content and will make google penaltized my site

Sometimes, we added the product with 2-3 tag on it, so it will be duplicated content (i think)... to solve it, i will adding 1000 words article to make my page original

And ofcourse i want to make stronger onpage seo Too with this strategy

so, if im not hide some of article it will make my ecommerce site display look as gerbage...

Is it good idea you think?

Any duplicate content should be solvable with proper canonicalization.

The idea of adding unique text does help with thin content issues, but Google should be able to see it (inside the source code). Whether a "1000-word article" is the best solution depends on the niche and the topic of the article. Normally, thin content on ecommerce sites can be solved with user reviews, product guides, etc.

I dont know what source code you mean, if you mean it is the hidden text that google know but my visitor don't, it is not my strategy is,

honestly, im still confused with canonicalization :D

Is it we ask to google to indexing to the page X that we want to rank, and ask to not indexing the other pages that same content as page X? idk...

My niche is fashion shop and the problem is, i had added more than 1 tag in the one product... (depent of my kw research, i had got more than one potencial kw with the same product)

And bcs of that, my product-tag urls got ranked, and i want to make its jump to first page on google.

Thanks for your replies btw :)

on your main page, press "ctrl+u" to see your page source code... the full article should be fully visible in the source code, so it is not hidden at all in google eye.

it is just a javascript that make it partially visible. so i think no issue
