Simple Method To Make $$

As I am new at this what sort of ads and placement are people using? I want to use adult pics so Adsense is out of the question, right?

Well, it depends on how creative you want to be with it.

Here's a suggestion.

Make your adult site but conceal it as a ' free images ' website, offering all kinds of images. Then, target your audience for the adult industry section for that given niche traffic stream in your campaign ads and emails.

Then you can legitimately post adsense on your pages because the guidelines require that you can post their ads on ' adult themed ' sites. It doesn't say anything about you offering an ' adult section ' within your ' general content theme ' driven site.

It's all in how you make it work for you by driving the right content to the right audience.

Be sure that you make them give up a name and email to use your site, as well as give an ' adult content ' warning page to protect yourself within the national guidelines of the censorship councils.

This gives you multiple streams of income from one site, as you can offer templates, graphics and everything else from here by searching for free content. All you have to do is steer clear of warez, p2p sharing and spamming. I know this kills out all of the fun stuff for most blackhatters but the thing is to ' bend ' the rules in your favor, not break them, nor the law for that matter.

It only draws attention of the wrong sort to you and makes them shut you down. The suggestion I'm offering you here works 100% within the given regulations of adsense and still allows you to target that market.

Advertise across the board. Post ads for swimwear models and adult stuff in those niche markets. Post ads for graphics and templates in those niche markets, etc.

Hope this helps.

One more thing...

Add backend offers and email special campaigns to these people once you capture their email info for whatever the are interested in and create your own income stream that way. The key to making that an organized operation is to simply add a catagory check list in your subscription form, making them check on what they'd like to get more information on.

This way, you can monitor and maintain the right mailing links to the right people on the list. Another failsafe for you is have them add a birthday and maybe even a credit card for age verification for access to the adult section.

I know this is a little bit of work to setup but once you have it in place, it will save you a fortune in the long run just due to these simple protection features.

Real business take REAL work.

Thanks for the detailed reply!

I'm not making an adult site. I just want to have adult and celeb galleries on my image site (what people are doing in this thread) and want some tips on what ads to place.

I figure adbrite is good since I think they allow you to place ads on sites with adult content which this image upload site would be.

I am completley new at IM (though I have been studying for two months) and this will be the first time placing PPC ads for me so I don't want to screw it up.

I've figured out how to edit the template to get the ads in I just want some ideas of what would be good to stick down.

I'm thinking about some PPC like adbrite, adsense, YPN and perhaps a few CPA ads from Copeac as well?

Would that be a good strategy on the monetizing side of things?

Thanks again.

For onsite, it would be good to go for adsense and cpa ads.

For offsite, such as placing ads to promote your site, I suggest that you keep it simple and actually do a little research for targetted traffic on the niche...for example...do a search for ' adult content forums ', ' adult ad submission ', ' adult content directories ', etc.

You will find unlimited resources to post your ads without restriction for your adult based offers of any and all kinds, from ads, to affiliate subscription and chat services...the works.

This sort of research comes in handy for targetting ANY niche. If you know the keyword, you can find the content and unlimited resources for posting your stuff to the market.

Hope this helps. Be sure and hit the thanks button if it does...heh. They work now, ya know.

The bandwidth seems not a big issue for me, my site running with 10K PV + 6K UV daily, it only cost me 120GB bandwidth per month.

However, assume you want to user view the large image at your site instead of hot-link in other site. Do you guys have any method to prevent hot-linking?

If I understand your question, you are referring to hot-linking directly to an image from yoursite by adding a link to another remote site.

If that is the case, you can simply not allow hot-linking by a number of methods. you can use protection scripts, non-display extensions, no-copy/no-forward methods as well. They are simple enough to find with a little research on the topic, ' protecting my website from hotlinking. '

As an advisement though, I would recommend that you just let that go because if they are linking you to another site, that is a true backlink within itself and taking any of the measures I've just listed will protect and prevent that form of leeching but in the same time, will cancel out your ability to backlink from any other site, as it will prevent those that would like to reference your site unable to do so.

I highly suggest not doing that. However, the choice is your's.

Hope this helps.

Yes, I know that it will reduce my backlinks, good suggestion aftershock2020... I will keep the hotlink and hope that the bandwidth will not increase too fast. Anyway, it is not any huge bandwidth yet.

Actually, I just can earn $1 per day from AdBrite by using this simple method. Anyone earn big money from this method?

I wouldn't claim to make BIG money using this, but steady clicks and email/zip submits thru my PPA offers. I'm currently using my PPA banners across the top of the pics and PPC on the bottom. It's consistent money. I've heard from others using this method incorporating XXX pics and making a buttload more than me, but my affiliates/host doesn't allow that type of content.

Great, I only put PPC in my site, I totally forget PPA...

I think it's time to test the niche and offers... However, it seems the traffic of image hosting is not too targeted to any niche... I just can think about entertainment, celebrity, adult.

I'm worried about putting Adsense on my picture site since I'll be going for the nudity card mostly. Would it be better to use a YPN account that I wouldn't mind being kicked on as much as Adsense?

mentalist, Black Label Ads works very well with this.

Thanks Pofecker. You're what this forum is all about. You've been a great help and have a great method here!

I've no experience with Black Label Ads. Do they pay well per click?

I like this idea! It suits my warped mind rather nicely. My only question is, where would you get enough images to upload to start off with? How many do you need to get started?

Their decent, check them out.

Google search (the*hun) one word and find their overflow section. Goto the non-nude portion and find images without a watermark. That should help get you started.

I might have a suggestion here. Go to Metart (they have some absolutley stunning girls) and find a particularly hot girl then find a torrent of her (there are lots of site rips of MetArt) then start a thread uploading sets of the same girl in a thread at a big board. You then have a reason to bump the thread when it starts moving down the page with another set of the same girl. The thread will get bigger and stay on the front page generating interest. It's a sure fire way to have a successful thread.

your 1st posting but your xperience is also looks new but what ever nice try i appreciate you for this

Keep in mind that this method can be used successfully outside of porn stuffs. Think about how many times you use imageshack to post on tech forums or whatever. Why give them the money for advertising when you can collect yourself. I use my some of my hosts for non nude stuff and I actually get dozens of member signups. They upload their pics on my site and now they work for me! One of my templates is so clean, the forum I use it on doesn't normally allow people to post with private image hosts, but they never bothered me!

I think you have a much better conversion rate with non nude than nude, but that's just been my experience so far. But if you want heavy instant traffic, then nude stuffs is the ticket.
