People these days are lazy. They would rather pay someone else to go and gather a hundred or a thousand contacts. That's just the way the world works. I'm not even really a lazy person, but honestly, I would rather pay someone else to do the research from time to time too. Plus, believe it or not, many people don't even know how powerful Google can actually be
Hmmm thats very interesting. I would have never though to try and do that. So you get all your traffic from posting classified ads or do you get ranking in google as well?

Classified sites. But there is nothing wrong with a little search traffic if you can get it
One last question: What do you mean by put together a list of numbers? Do you mean phone numbers of people selling the auctions? Also in the PDF, do you just list links going to the auctions or do you take the time to post pictures and information for each one as well?

In this particular niche, these would be like "real world" type auctions, so yes, it would be a list of phone numbers, and maybe addresses.
