Simple method to make a few easy bucks through video game arbitrage

I'm brand new to this forum, but have been lurking for a couple of years. I finally joined today and figured what better way to start then to share a money making method. This method is really simple and can make you some beer money.

1. Find digital downloads of games you can purchase under it's going rate. An example of a site dedicated to this is cdkeys, but there are tons out there. Pick a game that is likely to sell.
2. Post the game for sale on craigslist, offerup, facebook marketplace for whatever profit you think you can make.
3. Once you are paid for the game (through Paypal or Venmo) go buy the download code and send them the code. (no upfront cash needed!)
4. Rinse and Repeat

Now a few things - first I would try and find inexpensive games. People are leery of buying a download code online, so I would stick with cheaper games. I have also had mixed results posting just the title of the game and some basic info and in other posts telling them upfront it is a digital download. Try it out and mix it up.

As a simple example, I was able to buy Assassin's Creed Unity for $1.87. I then posted it facebook and offerup at $5. Each sale net's $3. Ultimately, there is not enough traffic from this from what I have noticed to scale it significantly - but if you want some quick easy money it should work. Maybe you can find some other twists on this too.

I'm going to try this method. Do you think a lot of people are already aware that they can buy the game cheaper directly on sites as cdkeys??
Personally I never heard of it, and I will probably buy some games of it myself
