Simple ? I Need Answered Badly

Hey guys.

I use BLOGGER and I recently got a site into many #1 rankings in Google.

I can automatically assign a unique domain name in my Blogger dashboard through GoDaddy.

I want to do this, because I think it would increase my click through rate in Google, but I need to know if it can effect my SEO in anyway.

I do not want to lose rank for any period of time, because I am making my living right now with this website so someone please give me a definite answer and I will greatly appreciate it.

Don't fix it if it's ain't broke

I have blogger blogs also some are PR4 then drop to PR0 when i use my own domain to it.

Switching to your own domain will cost you ranks as your URLs will change and you most certainly will lose the domain authority you are enjoying now. Monetize what you currently have.

Seems like the advice, "if it ain't broker, don't fix it" is the common phrase today. Seriously it may be the best option you have for this keyword.

The questions I would ask yourself:

Is the work you did to rank blogger easily repeatable

Will the time and money you invest be s cost effective to try and start a new domain?

If you start a new domain do you think there is risk with your blogger account going south?

My comments:
Build your site and blogger up if it is cost effective... Instead of viewing SEO as always needing to be in the #1 spot, why dont you go for the #1, #2, and #3 for those keywords. If you know how to rank this industry, then take as much traffic as you can.

Hi Thanks to everyone, especially Shawn. What you said about going for multiple spots is a huge inspiration for future projects. I don't think I could do the same for this particular site, and I'm actually not sure if it would be worth it because this site is kind of on gray-area type of stuff that probably won't be legal much longer.

To be honest, I could not recreate the work. It took me months and months, and I have over 20 unique number 1 spots in Google, and countless top 10's. That being said, I will go ahead and keep it as is, especially because it's doing well. I make like 1500 a month on this site, and it is the first site I worked on. The keywords are all "high competition" also.

The problem is, I did a lot of SEO on my own, and I also outsourced a couple of link pyramids and stuff so I don't know if all of these high rankings are due to my work or my outsourced work. I'm really not sure where to start on my next project. :/ I'm still new to the game, but I have a lot of golden ideas and I hope to do this for a living. Any advice is appreciated, and thanks so much Shawn!
