I just need some simple hosting and was thinking godaddy.

I just need to host a landing page. I do not need email or anything.

I have my domain as private and do not want anybody to be able to fish around and tie me to this site.

Can I just do some simple godaddy or do I need something different.

    Thanks for the help team.

MHO...any good shared host would do the trick. GD,Host Gator,Blue Host are all good as long as you don't violate TOS.

everyone is correct any basic shared host will do for that, but i have one recommendation, look for a host where you can host multiple sites and domains under one acct or one that will allow you to upgrade to a basic reseller plan.

reason being is that, sure now you just have the one site, but down the road you may want to build more sites and before you know it you've got 5 or 10 all paying $5 or $10 a month, so the bills add up.

i just like to think ahead thats all

    2 ultra-low-cost suggestions:

    NearlyFreeSpeech:
For as little as $0.25, you can set up web sites at NearlyFreeSpeech, the original home of only pay for what you use hosting."

Amazon S3.... Google "Amazon S3 adds new features for hosting static websites"

Read my thread about justhost. Two years with lots of options for around $40. Or, my proposal, go for stablehost. They are perfect.

I had GD years ago when I just started, by now I moved all I could out.

Just in case here is coupon for 10% of on orders over $30, not sure if it still works.

Hey i think best free hosting in market is: 1freehosting.com (aka First Free Hosting) they are abosuletly FREE, but features just rock: 1000Gb banwidth, 10GB disk space, PHP, MySQL, no ads and so on, just check it. Later i will post separate thread about them, because i'm just more than happy with their service and i think it should be used by any BHatter! It's even better then some paid hosters, you may recieve free support too.
