Im currenty making between 25 to 50 dollars a day with only tumblr traffic and content locking.tumblr is a goldmine.within the next couple of weeks I will be at $100 a day

Yep, and I use twitter and pinporn to promote my GIF posts. Twitter is still a good promotion tool for any type of blog you have. And don't forget to pick a theme with social media buttons at the end of each posts. Better yet add a 'share this' button so your visitors have more options to where they want to bookmark or share your blog.

Excellent idea. I never thought of doing that. Thanks for your contribution to this thread.

Another idea I might start toying with is pinning some of my funny pictures to Pinterest with my tumblr URL as the clickthrough link. After mothers, there are also a lot of teen girls on Pinterest. Pinning my posts could lead to more bookmarks, or more followers since many teen girls have both Pinterest and Tumblr.

And you're talking about people sharing your posts on Twitter? Or are you talking about using Twitter yourself to promote your blog?

Yea pininterest is a good idea, I get traffic through others posting my images on pininterest. Which is weird cause I thought pininterest didn't accept any form of porn. I typically share only my GIF posts through my twitter account since I already have a large following of pornstars, porn bloggers, and porn lovers even before I started the tumblr blog. So my main traffic from twitter is through my own account though I've had some from others posting on their twitter account. From my observations I see a lot more of my other followers posting funny pictures, so I can only imagine posting funny pictures on twitter would be beneficial.

I prefer to build a twitter following organically by interacting with people and tweeting relevant things relating to my life and other interests. It's best not to spam and you gain more interactive followers that are more inclined to trust the links you post. But that's just my opinion. I don't use any blackhat methods when it comes to my twitter account.
