Simple (for some) backlinking question

I'm currently implementing a new method and have found a little keyword that doesn't have a lot of competition.

Given that the SEO on the webpage is good, my research would suggest that 10 half decent backlinks would see me rank in the top three without too much trouble

where's the best place to get these? I'd prefer to do them myself as a tester rather than have someone create the backlinks for me

Anyone got good suggestions for PR backlinks?

Oh, and if i create a profile in high PR forums, with my link in my forum, will this create a valid backlink?

Basically you put in your site URL , your email, and a name(eg the keyword you wanna rank for) , then input keyword(s) , it finds blogs related to that. You can then narrow the list down to high PR websites, then you open 10 at a time , and it will fill in the email,name,website fields automatically, you just need to put in a highly relevant comment! It takes a few minutes, but will be worth it. You might as well use a pinging tool(in dl section) to get those backlinks indexed quickly once the comment is approved!


Also you can make free blogger blogs, with a few short posts, related to your niche, with backlinks to your niche! Also hubpages,WP blogs....etc etc Also these will have no PR (well initially anyway)

So your best bet is prob my first suggestion for high PR backlinks!


Also yes to your last question! that's why profile links are popular method of backlinking - but are they worth it? ...not really in my experience
