Side note, I've heard server location can affect SEO rankings.
If targeting the US but hosting in RU/CN, maybe you need use an offshore CDN to get a US IP back.

get hosted in Netherlands or Luxembourg. I've tried buyvm (for vps), the-online.com (for shared cpanel), vsys, the.hosting (formaly pq hosting for vps), privatelayer for dedicated server for DMCA ignored host and it works well even after 3 years.

Switzerland is less reactive for that.

hi,
I use all depending upon content to host and requirement of my client or myself. For small-mid size site I will use shared/cpanel hosting provider from the above, and for huge image host I'll get a dedi or vps (8CPU, 16GB RAM, likewise) from above providers. So it depends on what actually you are gonna host.
