Sick of not making any money with Twitter? Here's a Twitter method that's a little different from your typical follow / unfollow or wait and reply techniques. It's more of a mid-term earner than a quick blast method and it relies on generating SE traffic rather than making money directly from Twitter traffic.
STEP 1 - Choose offers
Pick several good free CPA offers in specific niches from your favourite CPA network(s). You want free email and zip submits, preferrably first page. For this example we'll use a $200 Nike gift card (thus the niche would be 'nike').
STEP 2 - Get keywords
Harvest a good keyword list for your niche. Adwords tool, Market Samurai etc. You predominantly want mid to long tail keywords although you could try some more competitive keywords and see what happens.
STEP 3 - Make Twitter accounts
Create or procure hundreds / thousands of Twitter accounts. If you can, pick out some good keywords from your list and try to get exact match usernames (eg. @nikeairjordans). Add a few initial friends, fill in the profile etc etc.
STEP 4 - Set up your Twitter profiles
Gradually fill up your profiles with some initial Tweets. You want a mix of:
a) Generic scraped tweets from random profiles (without any links, of course).
b) Simple generated tweets stuffed with keywords in your niche ("I love my nike golf cap, nike air jordans, nike michael jordan, and my nike catalog 2011" etc). You will need a very simple generator script for this - just stuff those keywords in there! Doesn't have to be particularly pretty - you're just stuffing your Twitter page with niche keywords to attract SE traffic. If you want to be sophisticated, divide up your keyword list evenly amongst your profiles. Keep a record of the keyword list you use for each profile - use these keywords as the anchor text for the links you're going to generate a few steps from now...
c) Well written ad tweets that point to your CPA offer (redirected through a referrer blanker like Brad's CPA redirector of course). Use those unicode symbols (stars etc) to draw attention to your ad tweets on the page.
You probably want 40-60 tweets to start with and you want your top tweet to be an ad tweet. I would post an ad tweet every 5-8 tweets so you have at least 2-3 ad tweets on your front page. You want to make it so a new visitor looking at your Twitter profile absolutely can't miss reading one of your ad tweets.
STEP 5 - Add random followers
Go to all the follow back sites and add yourself, twiends and all that shit, follow the top 500 followback lists etc and get yourself several hundred or more followers. They don't have to be targeted or even real - bots are fine. The only requirement is that your followers should in turn be following / be followed by lots of people. We just want to get our profiles meshed in firmly with the rest of Twitter from an SE perspective.
STEP 6 - Create backlinks
Go out and backlink your profiles. All your usual tricks, keep it simple and easy. Scrapebox, Scrapeboard, Sick, Xrumer, web 2.0s if you can be bothered etc. - whatever you have available. Remember you have a high probability of losing profiles with Twitter so keep it simple and quick - don't put in too much effort. Keep the anchor text targeted to your niche. For best results, use the keyword list you used for each profile from step 3b if you can manage it.
STEP 7 - Profit $$$
Roll around in your swimming pool of money and light your doobies with hundred dollar bills.
That's it! Your profiles will soon start to get a trickle of targeted SE hits because Twitter is actually really good to use as a parasite host and has a lot of social buzz "juice."
Each profile will only get a trickle, but en masse you could easily make an extra $20-50 a day from this high quality SE traffic seeing your juicy free offers. Twitter traffic (ie from people looking at their Twitter streams, of which you will also get a trickle) is shit, but SE traffic is a whole different ball game and has much higher conversions.
Because we're not aggressively following and unfollowing or @replying, the profiles should last reasonably well and since it's SE traffic, it's not just flash in the pan like with most Twitter traffic methods. You could keep on posting the occasional tweet to keep the profiles fresh and getting spidered if you can be bothered.
Rinse and repeat!
