Similarweb vs Semrush

Are you comparing small site or large?
Senrush gives an estimate of search data paid and free. Also it's less then what actually it is. If I check Google analytics I seen lot more traffic.
Similar web takes into account all traffic including social media, so gives more volume. But last time I checked it don't give data on smaller sites.

Semrush Is Good More Than Similarweb.

It's not the same data.
-SEMRush offers only organic traffic (and paid if it exists).
-Similarweb offers total traffic estimate (organic, social, direct, referral, etc).
SEMRush is supposed to be more accurate since it's easier to estimate only organic, while Similarweb offers a more complete picture but with less accuracy.

I have seen such results variations.
But i think
SEMRUSH Understates a lot
and
Similarweb Overstates a lot.
But IMO
SEMRUSH generally gets the answers from Google keyword planner and other similar sources.
But i think similarweb get it from social and other locations.

Thats true. I compared SEMrush with Google keyword planer the estimated volume was nearly identical.
Unfortunately I had no opportunity to test similarweb yet. But service seems interessting.

We used Similarweb for 2 years when comparing with our GA, visits were +/- 40% montly.
Switched to SEMrush, as it is more accurate.
IF the websites you are looking to track are NOT located in the EU, then Similarweb will have very accurate data. We had multiple calls with them to explain how they get their data and in countries where its possible, they buy data from ISPs (+ have free chrome extensions people use -> they track what they are doing).

Similarweb is often the best indicator. I have said for a long time Ahrefs seems to be under actual numbers and Semrush is more accurate than Ahrefs.
However I was reading this earlier today;
There was an interesting case study done by Rand at Sparktoro
But read the comments at the bottom of the page as to how the Ahrefs numbers were not accurately portrayed.

If you compare between two similarweb and semrush. The result will be different. You should use one of them.

This makes sense because Ahrefs and SEMRush only give organic traffic, Similarweb includes all traffic. Don't know about Datos.
But they are completely different stats so the comparison is not fair towards Semrush and Ahrefs.
