SIM card Question/s USA numbers

Hi guys,

Dumb question here (having a blonde moment I think LOL), my mind is blank right now,,,,

If I buy a USA Prepaid SIM card, can I use it to verify GMB and get a GVoice number etc.?
Anyone have any experience with this? What is the best company to go with if so?

I'm feeling ab it confused right now LOL TIA

Using original Prepaid simcard gets into the problem.
